Our 1990 Suburban Project
Our suburban right after we got it in May.
We purchased the suburban just 30 miles away, and we were happy to find one that has no rust. We plan to have it as a project vehicle and are going to split our projects into three main phases: Phase one (Biggest priorities), Phase two (Lesser priorities), and Phase three (Finishing Touches). We sat down and came up with a to-do list and a parts list. My Dad found a website and wrote out all of the RPO codes, so we know what options it was ordered with. Then a week later, my mom started helping, and she came up with the phase idea. We are going to open a checking account to cover the expenses, and plan to start by going to Powers Lake to get the third row bench seat from the original owner (we are third owners), and to trouble shoot the brake lights. When we bought, it we drove it home and realized that the brake lights don't work, so we are going to try to figure out what is going on... Here is a picture of our suburban. We plan on repainting it in Phase Three, maybe doing inverse colors like the picture below (Without jacking it up that high):
